SVA developed a master plan for this K-8 independent school’s 12-acre campus. With a strong emphasis on athletics, the plan includes a new turf field along with expanded academic facilities. JRDS wanted to decentralize its administrative offices throughout the complex to enhance communication among faculty, students and staff. The plan is designed for phased implementation as funding becomes available. JRDS wanted to maintain its culture of one school by: adding or relocating academic facilities, correcting deficiencies in athletic facilities, adding a new cafeteria and kitchen, improving office space, adding parking, and creating a space for a black box theater.
